How to Have A Perfect Day

It is a fact that for every new day that comes , we are automatically on reset, everything is brand new.

And by everything, it means even God’s mercy and blessings. It is renewed daily as sure as the sun does shine, and so are His miracles.

Everything is fresh. Fresh perspective, fresh start, new opportunities to seize and new life to live, new challenges, new chance for personal growth. Each new day would allow you to correct any mistake you made the day before or from any day in the past. Isn’t it wonderful that we get that opportunity to have something fresh every single day? My, we are spoiled!

Life may not always perfect, but if you have the chance to live a perfect day, what would it be like?

My perfect day would be no alarm clock ringing early in the morning, kids gone to school , having the house to myself, got extra time to prepare a sumptuous dinner in my beautiful kitchen, and a nice read before I sleep…but that’s me. That’s my idea of a perfect day.

We do different things that would sum up a perfect day for us. Not every day can be perfect, but it is achievable when you have a guide about the things that are important for you to achieve that perfect day.

Here are mine. If you struggle in this area, this might help you.

1.Gratitude

This is the most important thing that I do when I wake up. I pray. I give thanks for the opportunity that I am alive and well and my family is too. I believe that gratitude is the secret to abundance. Appreciate that you have a roof over your head, that you are able to have breakfast together with your loved ones, be thankful for the provision.

Life can be too overwhelming, we can be too busy that we tend to forget to appreciate and give thanks to God, or the Universe for all these wonderful things. When you are grateful, you are positive and you are opening yourself to more blessings .

Even when you are in a crisis, don’t forget to give thanks, because it is an opportunity to improve your life.

2. Forgive yourself and others.

Honestly, this is what I am struggling with the most. But I try to do it to the best of my ability. And I believe a lot of other people too. I know that it is easier said than done. I have written many posts about forgiveness in my other blog and I know the struggle of forgiving someone who isn’t sorry in the first place. But we forgive not for the sake of forgetting what the other party did to us, but we forgive for our own freedom. Believe me, it may have taken me some time to finally forgive those who did me wrong, but the moment I did it, I have never felt so free in my life ever!

And if there is one person you need to forgive badly, it’s yourself. You may not be even aware about it but blaming yourself for every mistake or misfortune that happens in your life is the thing that’s keeping you from moving on. Ask yourself, why has it taken you such a long time to forgive yourself?

Always give others the benefit of the doubt. If you treat every wrong or misguided thing that someone did to you as unintentional, it would be so much easier to forgive. Just live and let go. Life is too short to be living with grudges in your heart.

3. Acceptance

There are two things in life that happens: those things that we have control over, and those things that we don’t. Learn how to accept things as they are. Sometimes we find ourselves in uncomfortable situations, more often than we can avoid it, but before you over react, ask yourself first:

–>Will these be important or matter to me in 3 years? If not, then don’t waste too much of your energy obsessing about it.

–> Is it something that is within or beyond mycontrol? There are many things that needs your attention, those things that you have no control over do not deserve overthinking.

4. Do what you love to do.

There are people who have decided to pursue things that they are passionate about, and I can say that they are one of the happiest people I know. Don’t waste your time doing the things that drain you. If you have a job that does not give you reasons to smile about anymore, then isn’t it time that you start planning for your exit?

If you still cannot afford to leave your “no-life job”, then the very least that you can do is to do something that you love for an hour a day. Observe how it will perk you up and change your mood. Doing things that you are passionate about is something that’s essentially present in a perfect day.

So, what is your perfect day like?

What do you do when you wake up?

How do you get dressed?

Who do you take your lunches and dinners with?

Who are you sharing your perfect day with?At the end of the day, who you share your day with consists 90% of how your day went.

Again, these are tips on how you can have your perfect day.

Now that you have this guide, you can always achieve for a perfect day everyday.

xoxo,
Marianne
