How to Get What You Want and Get It Fast

I had my first coaching call today (not as a coach, but me on a call with my coach). Yes, I finally said yes to the idea of getting a coach. Coaches have mentors too. Most of the successful people I know have mentors whom they look up to and learn things from.   So today was something out of the ordinary because after giving this a lot of thought, I finally decided to get one. I really thought about this and this is applicable to you too, that if you want to improve your life, isn’t it just right that you should invest in it too? My call was…

Finding the Balance in Your Career and Health in the Digital Age

This article was first seen on Thrive Global. Today’s digital age has brought a lot of good stuff for everyone. The world wide web has made this once seemingly wide world, smaller. In fact, you can reach people and send your message across with just a few touches of your fingertips. That’s how the Internet has connected us to one another. Moreover, digital technology created opportunities for us to work remotely. Flexibility is one of the main benefits of the Internet, and just when we thought it would make work easier, sometimes it aids us being chained to our “office”. Life in My Presumptive Bipolar World

It’s been quite some time since I last posted and I am surprised it took this long! I suddenly thought about what could have stopped me from writing a single post, since most of what I wrote are just some of my experiences in life. Or , when I feel especially creative. Normally, it would have been too easy for me to create one. But lately, trying to start the first few sentences became a challenge for me. I seemed to have forgotten my subjects and predicates.  I realized I had nothing special to write. My life is boring! And I was suffering from a severe case of writer’s block.…

    Unfinished Sentences & Semicolons

I promised to write only of happy things, but I can’t pass up this chance to write something I love talking about, my causes and advocacies. Recently, I stumbled upon an article in Cosmopolitan Philippines , Here’s Why Semicolon Tattoos Are a Thing, and it was about the reason why people were posting photos of semicolon tattoos on social media sites. For some reason, I was absent from Instagram for quite a number of days, almost a week and wasn’t aware of this. But reading through the article, I learned that it was posted by people who wanted to make a stand against discrimination , spread awareness on Mental Health…

    I Ran for A Hero

The recent weeks had the whole country on an emotional roller coaster ride.  Two weeks ago, we were all ecstatic and our spirits were high with the visit of Pope Francis. We were all filled with positivity and happiness that not even a storm could dampen our spirits. The Villamor Airbase drowned with the chants of people awaiting the touchdown of Pope Francis’ arrival from Sri Lanka. Ironically,in a span of one week, that same airbase was filled with gloom , wailing and tears, all of the opposite of what happened just a week ago with the arrival of the 44 fallen Special Action Force (SAF) men of the Philippine…
